I am looking to get a 7210 but have seen the new 6100, it seems to be a similar phone but with a few more features...does anybody have one and / or think it is worth paying £50 more for the 6100??
Any views? :) |
Errr...the 6100 has less features than the 7210/6610 does it not??!!?!
ie, no radio, no speakerphone, etc.... Speakerphone is best thing about 6610 - very useful (for me). |
Are you sure it isn't just more expensive because it is "new" to the market? Most Nokia phones come down in price very quickly after launch......
|
I would get 7250 or 6620 now - integrated camera in same size phone as 7210/6610......
|
From Nokia website - both do have speaker, so 6610 has radio, and 6100 has WIM (wireless identity module) whatever that is!!!!

Just to throw another one into the equation, how about the 5100? Seems to have the same features, plus a few more (sound meter, thermometer, etc), for the same money, all in a shock/dust/moisture resistant case, and cost the same £50 on 02 in "the link" as the other two. (Think it was free with one of the networks)

Yeah I've got a 6100. It's nice and small and light. Buttons are a bit tricky to text quickly with. Screen is great. Features are good. Worst thing is the sound quality of the earpiece. I guess because the phone is so small everything is compromised slightly, but people's voices distort quite easily on it.
Looks v. cool but overall my old 3310 had better usability/ergonomics. Just depends what you want really. |
Ive got a 7210 for sale, 2 months old.

If i was forced into buying one it would be 6100 cos its smaller than the bulky 7210:D
