Hello peeps this first posting after buying my 91 import Legacy GT turbo estate

Am well pleased as have wanted a scooby for some time, however there is minor fault with electrics, fog lights were working well on test drive and have unfortunately since packed up, have checked bulb & is ok, but no power to bulb, switch button lights up and int lights dim and side lights come on as they should but no fogs? Have checked all fuses in footwell block and nearside eng comp
Could it be a relay prob? if so where is the little devil and the correct location of the fuse would be great also is there a wiring diag available, similar age wrx would do I guess

Please advise cheers Adrian

Take one off. Remove connector, and check that power is getting to it, using a circuit tester. The cheap type that looks like a screwdriver with a wire coming out of the top, will do.
I would suspect the bulbs. if they haven't been used for a while, then had some use, one may have gone, and you'd be surprised to find how many times that causes the other to give up too.

Thanks Alcazar, Have already done that, the bulb was ok and I have put my multi tester on the loom terminals, no volts there at all, which is why I suspect a fuse. I have checked the footwell fuse box for and the engine bay box and all appeared to be ok, could not identify the specific fuse and or relay, where are they situated?

I know it's a bit cheeky, but what I do when in this situation, is ring my nearest Scoob dealer, ask for service, then ask to speak to an electrics "gen-man". a bit of soft soap usually ellicits what info I need.
