Well, just had a nice meeting and looks like I'll be flying out to Canada on 7th April for a min of 2 months, though possibly a lot longer.

One of the things I'll need to sort out is a car, and financing will come into it, and it's been mentioned it would probably be a good idea to have a credit check to show the car dealer in Canada.

So, where is the best place to get myself a credit check? how much will it cost?

Equifax are one the main ones in the UK.Last time i got my credit report it was £2.

You can do online applications for both Equifax and Experian.

Makes for interesting reading - very easy to get tagged in with your parents / sister / brother just by living at home with them.

Check the card issue/expiry dates........ !! god if they cant get it right..god help us!!
