I am about to change my magnex 6 x 4 back box for a firestorm or the blitz nur spec. I only need the backbox as I have a magnex mid section, un resonated due and a magnex downpipe waiting to be fitted. I would be very grateful for opinions positive and negative on the 2 boxes. I know it will be very loud :). Can't decide between the two. Very similar prices so that doesn't help either. Not a bad decision to have to make I suppose. Will they both fit well to the magnex centre. Any power differences, etc. All comments greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Marc

ive had both, just sold my firestorm and bought a blitz.

blitz = better looks, very loud
firestorm = very nice flat four sound, also very loud, well made but blitz slightly better and has a nicer hanger.

hope this helps ya.

silver-sub 09 March 2003 04:59 PM

Anyone know what inch the tailpipes are?

Marc R 09 March 2003 06:19 PM

Cheers for all the replies, seems pretty conclusive on the blitz. Thought I was going for that at the start but thought I'd get some opinions first. Thanks for the sound clip, very nice and burbly :). Should wake the neighbours, and the dead. Dan your car is seriously shiny. Very nice.

Marc (soon to be blitz owner methinks)

Its gotta be Blitz best sounding zorst IMO.....bore is 3" to 5" tailpipe....You can egt the bung aswell if you wanna tone it down a bit for motorway etc. If you have got a full decat its PROPER loud.....

S.B. 09 March 2003 07:18 PM

When you say loud are you talking flat four loud or max power style loud?

Big Goon 09 March 2003 07:36 PM

Download the sound clip and listen :)

Marc R 09 March 2003 09:58 PM

Nah, prefer the blitz or firestorm, as I have said earlier on thread think the blitz has won the day. As long as availability isn't to long. Need more noise. Much to girlfriends distaste. Quote " why do you want it to be louder" Why not?
