Please leave in general for a bit.... :D

Are we all of the opinion that Mark's fuel pumps are the best to go for (to fit a totally standard STI3, I am reliably imformed this is the place to start modding).

David_Wallis 05 March 2003 05:11 PM

Yes.. but this would be better in general technical..

Std fuel pump can barely supply enough fuel as it is..

Ta David,

Are there different flow rates, i.e. 255lts/min? Is that the best to go for?

yhe chod 05 March 2003 08:36 PM

good topic this as i have always thought that the standard fuel pump on my ppp my99 uk scooby has been struggling sometimes.seem to get smoother and effertless power on querter tank than on half tank[dont think its the weight]

scooby_si 06 March 2003 12:17 PM

So r these pumps actually made by lateral performance or does he just do a good job of fitting etc?
Si (lookin 4 type R at end of year so wana make necessary plans ;))

ustolemyname??stevieturbo 06 March 2003 05:04 PM

I think they are just an aftermarket Walbro pump that he supplies at keen prices.

Dan B 06 March 2003 06:25 PM

Indeed, very keen price.... No fitting though, but it looks not too difficult to fit anyway.

Guinness 06 March 2003 08:21 PM

Fitting, piece of pi$$,so long as your not smoking...:D

Dan B 07 March 2003 09:33 AM

Stuart Knight 07 March 2003 09:43 AM

On mine its only 4 bolts to get the rear seats out anyway :)

Dan B 07 March 2003 09:53 AM
