Where is Autotrader's main office in England, and do you work there ?

Auto Traders main office is in Wimbledon, South London IIRC.

Actually, I beleive it's Warrington, Cheshire. At least that where the Call Centre's are.

Think you'll find they are regional offices, main office always was in Lower Earley - Reading as the founder lived close by.

I thought the founder was from Warrington, thats where I believe AT to have started :)

How could you ever doubt me ! It was founded & later sold (2000 ish ?) by John Madejski who still lives near Reading see here .....

Just done a search of Companies House and it gives this as their registered office:

Name & Registered Office :
AUTO TRADER LIMITED
UNIT 6 THATCHAM BUSINESS VILLAGE

Registered office does not necessarily equal their primary place of business. :(

Why not ring up one of the numerous numbers listed on their site & ask ??????

Auto Trader was formed by John Madjeski - Madjeski Stadium is home to Reading Football club - he is a multi millionaire. Applos for spelling of his name, maybe wrong? Hence the thatcham/Reading location

Our registered office is listed as our accountants office address for instance as are a lot of companies.

Head office is at Thatcham. Been there a few times as I work for the IT supplier that supplies most of the kit for the production side. Autotrader was a joint venture between Hurst Publishing and Guardian media Group.

What do you need help with as we've got a few good contacts there ?

Why? You've been waiting for about 20 hours to get the address - surely it would be easier to phone, and then you are guarranteed to speak to someone that works for them too. :)

I just thought I would try on here first. Thats all. I need a query answered and thought a friendly scoobynetter who works at the autotrader main office could answer what I wanted to ask.

Let me guess....you saw a program on tv filmed inside the head office,there was a nice bird in the background and you wanted a date.......close?
