I have left my old employer with Outlook98 on my home PC (I used to work from home).
I want to change the ISP but it is locked to my employers site. No way do I want to approach them so is their anyone who can tell me to unlock everything and start again. I understand that it is a question of bringing up a properties window but cannot find which one it is. I have installed OL2000 with no success and cannot uninstall OL98 Any help? Nick |
Is it a full version of Outlook? If it is you should be able to change it in tools- services and tools options. Your employer may have used a cut down version or, if you are using W2k or NT4, you need to be logged into the workstation as administrator to make the changes

Fast Bloke,
It was set up by being sent a full version to my home. It has gone on my personal PC. If it is any help, whnen I first installed it, the default homepage was for Freeserve. I had to contact the administrator to unlock the edit? function to change the home page to my ex-employers. To do this unlock required bringing up a properties page and clicking on a no/yes box. I wish I had taken notes on how to do this... Nick |
What versions of Windows, Internet Explorer and Outlook are you using? What type of mail-server are you currently connected to and what type of mail-server do you want to connect to?
