THE MEETS AT BASILDON TO SOUTHEND ON THE 1ST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH WERE VERY POPULAR LAST YEAR AND HANDLED BY B.H.P. CLUB.
SO FAR THIS YEAR TINY 01 FROM FLAT4 CLUB HAS STARTED PUTTING TOGETHER A CRUISE,WE HAVE TALKED ABOUT A MID SUMMER CRUISE TO BRIGHTON THIS COULD BE SATURDAY 7 JUNE
LAST YEAR THERE WAS 30+ SCOOBYS AND MANY OTHER CLASS PERFORMANCE CARS. THIS WOULD BE MASSIVE IF WE ALL CRUISE DOWN TO BRIGHTON

yeh whats up with the dyke...

Been there, seen it , done it, still smiling!!!!!! ( devils dyke that is)

Devils Dyke is a very twisty bit of back road that goes over the South Downs just to the North of Brighton. Can be good fun. There are three big danger points, where other lanes/turnings meet it and a fastish left hander with opposite camber near the begining. Apart from the above points where you have to slow right down you can drive it quite quick. I think someone wrote a red Scoob off up there a while back and posted pics up on this board.

the last time i did the brighton run the only cameras were in brighton not far form the town.... That was summer.if there are any locals that can give a more acurate veiw it will be great.

i will do a run a few weeks before the agreed date to cheque it out to see if there is enought room for us and if there are road works and a general look..

Cameras are only on the seafront and on the main London road coming into the town.

Though the local forces are quite happy to book anyone making trouble!!! ;)

The only camera's on the way to Brighton are after the A23. But the old bill are aware that events like this happen, and like to play hid an nick.... :(

But then again, when there is 15 of us in a convoy, trying to work out which is which, can be fun. ;)

I would be happy to come along and join you. I shall watch to lot of you pass under the bridge, then play catch up.
