Am I asking the impossible!?
I am staying in London next week, and need a room for the night. I HATE, with a passion, boring, chain hotels, so wondered if anyone could recommend be a design orientated/funky hotel in central london. I know of the likes of the Hempel, Metropolitan etc but could do with not getting a mortgage! Any help appreciated! Mossman :) |
Try MyHotel in Bloomsbury, just off tottenham court road.
http://www.myhotels.com I think lastminute.com do some deals with them |
The Sanderson - great bar too ;)
(possibly a mortgage jobby, but you do get some good deals with current underoccupancy in London Hotels) |
Malmaison in Farringdon?
|
My company did the bar at the Sanderson Looks
But have you seen the bedrooms the bathroom walls are glass:eek: |
Yes, i'm reasonably well acquainted with the bedrooms there ;)

Meridian on Picadilly not trendy, but bang in the middle of it all and good. My boss stayed there when he was over from New York.

Meridian .wouldnt bother..
"My Hotel" as mentioned is nice. And aaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllll the hotels are short on guests. So go in hard!! |
The White House Hotel near Regents Park is REALLY nice (about £120 per night and worth every penny) :)
