Having just returned from Thailand I thought I would post just a few pictures with respect to my holiday. I spoke to a few individuals on here before I went for advice so hopefully somebody might be interested in the photo's. We spent time on both Krabi and Phi Phi islands, then proceeded to Phuket.

Jules & I were out there last July. I had only travelled as far as Greece before and was totally blown away by Thailand. We stayed in Phuket at the "Evason Resort & Spa" which was 5* and just amazing. Did the Phi Phi trip via speed boat and Tuna/Marlin fishing.
Fantastic memories :) will be doing long haul again this year, nut where????? |
Top pictures.
My favourite holiday destination so far. Anyone stayed in Bangkok?, how hot and humid is it in Patpong market, jees, stil feel it now, plus opening the balcony door at 2am and being hit by a heavy unreal heat, mental place. |
Well, if you can’t beat ‘em…
We were in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Koh Tao for honeymoon over the Christmas and New Year. Not such pretty photos, except perhaps the sunset…;) Mossman, I’ll send you a couple of others, as promised, but we don’t have much from Koh Tao – I was too busy diving! Bangkok hotel at night, from the Bayoke Sky http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpi...4218342800.jpg A happy orchid! http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpi...4218197623.jpg Long-tailed boat http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpi...4218915044.jpg Koh Tao sunset (it happens every evening, folks!):) http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpi...4218247936.jpg And everyone’s favourite cutie? http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpi...4218999991.jpg Great place. Ricky, great pics, what camera did you use, im looking to buy a new one as my present digital camera dosent do the beach and sea any justice like yours does.

LeeMac,
The camera I have at present is the Olympus C5050 Zoom (5 mega pixel). Its a great little camera but costs in the region of £600. The last camera I had was virtually as good and the only difference being the number of pixels and a few SLR type features and functions. It was the Olympus C4000 Zoom (4 mega pixels), and to be honest, for a point and shoot camera it was excellent. It weighs in at approximately £350 - £400 now i think (possibly even cheaper). Both highly recommended by me ....... although having said that I'm not into photography that much, but I'm happy with the results I get. Cheers ! Ricky ! |
Nice pics dude. Looks well nice - especially the pic of "the" Beach :D I have it as todays wallpaper :)
Simon. |
Cute elephant!! Looks gorgeous there, just the stories i've heard from my friend (and the flying time) has put me off going!!
