Hi

I have been told that on certain TVR's the rear number plate lights up from the rear and does not need to be lit from the top or bottom. I this true and if so do any of you guys know which models have this.

Cheers

Perhaps this is familiar :)

"It's actually a translucent number plate that has a couple of normal number plate lamps set about 20mm away from the back of it in a recess so it appears backlit, if your just after a translucent plate try Automarque on 01474 535927 they're about £11 plus p&p (www.uknumberplates.com)

Strange, that sounds cool and tacky at the same time.

Just saw david_h's post on piston heads, got him to post the question for me.

I had the rear boot lid of my mk2 golf modified and i need to light up the number plate. This option would save me from have to drill into the boot lid.
