For much less than a grand, you could go out and buy a new CompactFlash based camera and a MicroDrive, then sell your original camera.

About to go on holiday with digital camera.
However, only have 64Mb memory stick in camera, so need to have some method of storing piccys while away. Need a cheap laptop. Where's the best place for cheap laptops (ie, under a grand).

Anyone got any other solutions?

Maybe this is too obvious, but go and buy a few more memory sticks ?

Mind you, what am I saying, any excuse to buy a new toy....
