Is there anyone out there who has visited the Dominican Republic in June/July. I am trying to sort out my honeymoon for this year and have heard reports that the weather is really bad at that time of year with lots of rain and possible hurricanes. I don't want to spend all that money if I'm going to be washed away...
Cheers |
i was there in hurricane season. had fabulous weather apart from 3 days....and oh boy did we see some storms.
just sat in the pool in the (warm) rain with a rum and coke |
worked in the caribean for 6 months the hurricane season starts in april and lasts until august, your best goig to a caribean island in the winter as there will be more people there as the americans start to holiday

Try Cuba - Cayo Coco. Cheaper and more select with the plus that Americans are not allowed there ;)
I've done it and it's great although I'm doing the Maldives next :D F |
