Seems odd as Argos/Index fix all their prices lower than everyone else in my experience!

LOL at feckers. Yeah no wonder I was waiting so long at the Argos counter collecting my Monopoly Board- they were changing the price in the warehouse.

Boost - Try Smyths. Always a bit cheaper than Argos or Index for toys, but you can't take them back after 6 months when the kids get bored and get a refund :D

I bought kettle a while back...

After 4 months it started making an odd noise.

So I dug out the box and took it back to Argos, without a receipt - but they gave me a refund anyways.

It was only after I walked out of Argos, it dawned on me that I'd bought the ruddy thing at Dixons.

My sister once melted her radio alarm clock because a high power lamp was left touching it. Took it back to Argos with a dumbfounded look saying it didn't seem to work any more and the feckers gave her a new one! Pretty sure my iron developed a manufacturing defect afetr I dropped it on the floor too!
