Looks like you've answered your own question:eek:
|

Hello . we can shorten your prop the cost to shorten & balance it will be approx Ģ45.00 +vat depending on the tube dia etc. we are just off leeds road A647 David |
Thatīs cheap :D
|
Nearly all the front eng RWD kit cars have this done. Some are putting 350+ to the back wheels from their cossie engines (which is more than david will be :D )
Andy |
349 to the rear wheels
AND 349 to the front wheels ;) |
maybe 300 front and 300 rear.. If I use nitrous then
David |
LOL I originally typed 300 but thought....sh1t, he probably will !!!
|
Alright, what have I missed?
You putting in 2 engines David? Someone please explain, tis all very cryptic in here! |
Just one engine, but still FOUR wheel drive.
paul |
eh? can u lot get any more confusing?

300 + 300 = 600 :)
|
From 1 engine to 4 wheels :)
|

|
Yea..... but Davids one !!! Anything can happen !
|
I give up.
David, please explain :) |

might I suggest a 22b rep wagon for ur next step, there is that tasty 22b replica kit for the four door available which Im sure u could butcher... ;) http://www.hpi.co.jp/racingparts.html cheers |
OMG...
Dad has just said he has balanced a prop before by having the car on axle stands and holding some chalk... then using jubilee clips :D David |
Knowing your dad, i bet he has done:D
|
he was being serious
|
It's a bit like the way 'some' places balance turbo's. You measure the vibration then grind a bit off the nut, if it gets better, continue to grind, if it gets worse you grind the other side !
Same with the propshaft but you turn the position of the jubilee clip and maybe add more clips depending how badly out it is. |
I thought I was the bodger :D
I might have a prop coming anyway :D David |
