Unfortunately due to a little 'un and other hobbies (like Scoobs!!) my windsurfing gear has been sat in the garage for 5 years gathering dust.

Could people give me an idea of how much I could try and sell the whole lot for in the classified adds?

This is what I've got:

Boards - both in padded board bags

F2 Sunset Slalom 272cm 1992
Tiga Team Carbon K 320cm 1988

Sails

Tushingham Race Light 6.5m 1992
Neil Pryde CAM 5.5m 1990
Tushingham Vector 4.5m 1990

2 clamp on booms and 2 two piece Art masts - one with some carbon in it.

Various fins in a fin bag inc 3 decent ones, a wave (angulo), a slalom(angulo), and a large slalom fin (Stix 36cm).

one mens and one ladies winter steamer. Mens wetsuit top and long johns
harnesses, ropes, 2 F2 mast extensions, that are swoppable between the two boards by unclipping the foot.

Any ideas on how much I could ask for this, and if it's saleable at all! Do any shops/schools buy this kind of stuff?

any thoughts much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

greg

Hi Greg. I do a bit but not too well probably compared to most http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Whereabouts are you located as would like to look at the sails and some of the other bits too. if you want shot fast contact Shore watersports of Hayling Island as they hold a free car boot sale of winsurf gear once a month outside the shop on a Sunday (but I cannot remember which one of the month it is!) and ask them when the next one is. It would mean a trip to there but it will generate cash right away.

Hope this helps

Ah! I would try local places 1st then!
What condition are the booms, and the smaller sails in?

It was all in excellent nick last time I looked at it (over 5 years ago).

However initially I'd like to sell the whole lot as one or 2 packages, otherwise I'd end up with maybe a board and no rig!

cheers,

greg

Hi Greg - I'll start the bidding at £100 for the lot http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

As for it's real value - check the 'for sale' section of a windsurfing magazine in your local newsagent.

Richard
