My clutch is on it's last legs on my MY95 WRX wagon import. Whilst clutch is off, is it worth me getting flywheel done? Is this a good thing to do? if so, what can I expect??

Thanks,

Chris.

Personally unless the flywheel is cracked - I woudn't touch it..
There isnt any performance gain to be had having it lightened in reality...

They should be able to tell whether it needs replacing once the clutch is off.

The only thing you are likely to gain is a little more engine braking.

this mod was recommended to me my a mechanic. IIRC it will apparently increase acceleration a bit, but if u get a flywheel that is too light i.e <6kg then u start to get idling problems.

cheers
