I have a uk sti7 12months old 22000miles In morning and when not been used for several hours when I reverse out of drive on full left hand lock I get a severe knocking from front wheels.
It is similar to the feel of a constant velocity joint going on the old Minis
It happened before and the garage replaced the center diff this was about 4weeks ago the problem seemed to go away but has now re-occured
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this might be or has anybody else experienced the same problem?

Mine does exactly the same. I would of thought that its an TADTS (they all do that sir) but if you know different let us know.

Cheers

Weird, mine has done that a couple of times too.

It might just be the pads sticking to the discs, but the vibration does feel a bit more serious than the usual clonk as the pad springs off the disc.
