I have ISDN into the company, everything works apart from shares, I cannot access a shared drive.

If I disconnect the ISDN and dial in on a modem it works fine. The shares also work fine on the LAN.

Any ideas? It's driving me nuts!

That'll be the steering wheel on your kn*b...

Back to reality, it sounds like you're very likely having troubles with your WINS settings on ISDN. Check that when connected your WINS server settings are resolved (use ipconfig on Win2k/WinNT or winipcfg on other Win9x OSs)

If this is the trouble, copy the settings that you get from dialling in on the modem to the ISDN connection and that should work.

Looks like it is WINS. The ISDN LAN modem at my end has the WINS address set for my wifes network, and I don't fancy changing it. Last time I changed something it knackered her connection!

So hard set them on my PC and all is well, many thanks.
