nice, you forgot your spoiler!

262 with just pipe work is good, you should go for an ecutek now! could be at 290

lucky_strike 16 February 2003 10:55 AM

Those spoilers are growing on me. Very nice car.

yoza 16 February 2003 11:20 AM

Looking good, whats all this about selling it :(

You forgot to mention its never been out in the rain.........

Later Yoza

Ps Let you all into a little secret,Nick took me out in his car to show me his new gauges, then to my horror asked me to put my hand on his knob:eek:,then to my great relief he explained he has had a quick shift fitted aswell :).

Caronte 16 February 2003 05:41 PM

Hi Nick,

would you mind taking another picture of the gauge pod seen from the back seats so that i can see how it matches with the central dash?

Thank you

PS . Are the LAmco gauges aany good?

GPM2K2 16 February 2003 08:32 PM

Hi nick nice to see the wheels still look well ive just sold my o2 and can't make my mind up (evo 7 or sti 8) but i feel three o1 scoobs is to much
cheers mark l (Alloytech)

NickAdams 17 February 2003 09:45 AM

Thanks Guys!! :D

Yoz,My words were "Put your hands down here and feel this!!!" :D lol

Caronte,No probs.I'll email the pics to you once I've taken them.I do like the gauges but if there's one downside,it's that they are a little too small but they do look 'original equipment' which is what I like!! It's surprising just how long the car takes to 'properly' warm up now that I have the gauges to monitor it.If you take notice of the water temperature gauge, you'd think your car was upto normal temp after a couple of miles (It's more like 4-5 miles before the oil temp picks up)

Mark,I'll try and give you a call one day as I need to pop up and see you at some stage anyway!! :) What about STi8 with PPP??? :D

Cheers

Nick

ZIPPY 17 February 2003 11:33 AM

Oh my god its clean, the neighbours must have been laughing at how long it took you again, unless they are old pictures of the outside and just new ones of the inside.
It does look good i'll give you that, your friendly dealer just loves you with all your OEM parts
All we need now is the ECONOMY DEVICE to be fitted.

'If its not original its not going on'

To help maintain competitive pricing policies a zero tolerance approach will taken with cutomers who modify their vehicles within valid UK or European Warranty periods.

This announcement comes in light of recent speculation that reprogramming of Subaru OE ECU's with non-standard data maps will not invalidate MY01+ warranties. This I can confirm is nonsense.

I Trust this sends a clear and stark message to all Subaru drivers who attempt to mofify their vehicles outside of UK dealership guidelines.

IM

Right!!

Mr J/Mr H,take a bow.Which one was it then?? :D
I have to laugh at the professional wording you tried to use and then look at the spelling mistakes and bad english: lol

To name but a few:

....a zero tolerance approach will taken with cutomers.... = ....a zero tolerance will be taken with customers

.......to all Subaru drivers who attempt to mofify their vehicles.... = .......to all Subaru drivers who attempt to modify their vehicles....

Nice try guys

Nick

P.S: To everybody else,I'd safely say that this is a hoax!!!!!:D:D:D:D

BL 18 February 2003 03:15 PM

ZIPPY 18 February 2003 03:24 PM

I like it. I'm not a huge fan of the morettes, but they look good on your car.

One suggestion: Get a STi hoodscoop. Looks great.
