Thinking of getting some new wheels in 18" rim. What is the best width to go for?? I thought most people run 7x18 with 215/35/18 tyres?

What do you all have then guys:confused:

Now running 8X18 Compomotive Mo's with 215/35/18 proxes and so far so good (I hope). If you are still looking to try a set let me know and we'll stick these on your car for a day and see what you think:D

Cheers Wuz. Wouldn't mind going out in a car with 18's on just to see what it's like. I E-mailed Martin back but not heard since.

Just waiting on a price from Autosave for 18" Detroit F1's in 7x18 so i guess this would be OK.

Let me know when you are back onshore and we can meet up if that is OK;)

No problem M8 - back on the 26th. Martin went away yesterday and he was waiting for you to get back in contact with him to arrange a mmetup date.

We'll meet up at the monthly meet at the start of March:D

Right... Been let down on the Detroit F1's so am now looking at Compomotive MO's 8x18 in gold:D:D What offset do you run Wuz? Any ideas on where to get them:confused: Halfords are getting me a price tomorrow:eek:

I run a 17", 7.5" wide rim (et45 offset) - width allows use of 225 tyres, offset allows Porsche GT3 calipers behind.
