Hi folks,
I run the web site |
yeah, I keep getting porn!
I mean, it's not altogether a problem, but every day! I cant keep up!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr |
Neil,
Some versions of Outlook have a feature built in called Junk Senders. Not that useful but may help a little. Have a search in the Help to see if your version has it. In terms of stopping it totally, well not a lot you can do. The chances are it's been harvested off your web site (very nice BTW). I'm the e-mail administrator for our network at work and I still get spam coming in to address that haven't been used or publicly posted for two or three years. Don't reply to any of the messages though - all you are doing is showing your address works and asking for more! ChrisB. |
There are rules in Outlook express, you can say anything contain word x to be moved to a SPAM folder or something.

Best (but not greatly effective!!) way is to set up message rules (tools, message rules, mail, new) and make up your own database of "froms", "subjects" etc to move to other folders or delete.

best to change your default mail to Outlook. It has a facility to set a sender as Junk mail which then automaticaly sends the mail to deleted items. Some of the buggers manage to get around it but it works for the standard ones like Quick time news!!
express cant do it i dont think. |
