Can anyone tell me if its possible to improve the picture quality on internet images - whether downloaded or viewed - its just that the Toshiba labtop I have now has appalling picture quality - this has been happening for the last month regardless of whatever site

Is there some function button I may have pressed by mistake to make it poorer?

Perhaps you've somehow mad it run in 16 or 256 colours rather than 16/32-bit

Go to Control Panel -> Display -> Settings

Yep on 256 colours

Have now corrected and images are perfect - thanks
