Hiya all,
Considering getting some subtle tints on my Scoob :) However, one concern. Obviously it's a film accross the glass, I've noticed on the websites they claim the safety factor of glass not shattering if you have an accident...however if I end up with the Scooby in an accident and I (or someone else) needs to smash the window in a hurry, am I going to be able to do this? Thanks Jen |
Jen,
I'm pretty sure, that if the window wanted to break/be broken, it would do so, however, rather than ending up with glass bits everwhere, the glass would stick to the sheet, so it might even be safer aswell! ie, less gory flesh wounds!! |
Jen, the film is placed on the inside of the window, so it will smash outwards, but smashing inwards will take a couple of hits with something nice and heavy.

AFAIK
As Scoob doors are pillar-less, as soon as the glass shatters you can just pull the film and glass away from the car. The glass remains attached to the film meaning you don't get covered in flying debris. It only becomes a problem when the doors have pillars as some glass and film remians inside. Nathan.. |
Ahhhh, seems logical - thanks guys...call me paranoid eh? :)
