Just loaded in the BIOS - said it went in and verified.....

Put the chip in, aligned it (got the green LED flashing)

Of course, it didn't work (Microsoft flash still comes up) :(

The only thing I can think of is

(a) what should the DIP switch settings be?
(b) how tight should the torx screw be (to hold the chip in place)

Answers on a post card.... :D

Dan - YHM.

You need to change the dip switches to take it out of test/installation mode once installed.

Put them as 1-Off 2-On. The light should be green but not flashing :)
