Thanks for that Frank. At least I know I can get them.

I have the Thule ones from Halfords and they cost about £90 for the lot! I use mine for carrying my mountain bike on.

Can you get them? How much? How do they fit? Didn't want a wagon but need the extra space of a top box.(2 kids!)
p.s. Kids will go inside the car, honest.

ive got roof bar for my 93wrx 4dr. Under the black plastic runner which goes along the length of the roof there are the brackets, a bit like a flattened 'U ' clip, the roof bar attachment goes under there, and petrudes upward. the roof bar pulls against this ...difficult to explain without a diagram i know.

I got my roof bars from (Charlie browns) 'motorworld' ... i dont think they are Harry Hopkirk brand, and they cost £88 for the 2 i think, and that included the feet attachments(fitting kit) .

Subaru use pretty much the same ones and quote a damn site more.

I use a roof box , or stick 3 Canoes on, and they hold up to it no problem.

Hope this helps mate

Frank

If i remember correctly Halfords quoted around £150 for Thule roof bars.... so they aint them either
