The one in the Scoob has let me down twice in the past couple of weeks. Mainly due to its lack of use and the cold weather. I think it's the original battery so it's done a good job as it's survived 5 years.

Therefore, can anyone suggest a good battery, I'm thinking about going down the Bosch route unless anyone can come up with a better idea.

Cheers,

Ed

I replaced mine with a Varta battery. I used to hang around with a lad whos dads company made these things.

As far as i know they are damn good quality batteries. I think mine was about £50 and came with a 3 year warranty.

I've got a similar one to that but it still didn't stop my battery being dead yesterday morning when I had to get to a christening :( Had to be rescued by my girlfriends 1.1 fiesta :D

£50 seems to be the average price i've been quoted these last few days!
Think i'm just gonna go with which ever one gives longest warrenty!

How much more are high powered batteries?
