Anyone got any pics of fog covers on a blue/black 01/02 - interested to see what they look like (what options are there apart from the Subaru official efforts).

Try places like TSL www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk ;)

Have their own cheaper versions.

what like these.... (not painted yet thou)..

lucky_strike 08 February 2003 06:52 PM

oooh, I like those - are they Subaru parts or TSL/similar?

BL 09 February 2003 10:06 PM

The ones on DrEvil's car are genuine STI parts purchased from TSL

DrEvil 10 February 2003 04:21 PM

TSL do the exact same covers without the STi logo for circa £100 - they are exactly the same as the STi ones but not from Subaru/STi.

Give Paul a call! :D

DrE,

what part needs painting, thought the official STI ones came in WR blue or blue/black mica? Yours look like they already match the car. Or are you painting the STI logo a different colour?

Cheers

Chris

The STi offical ones come in WR Blue or unpainted hence black (£200 from a Subaru dealer I believe). The STi logo is white in both cases and the grill part is painted black.

I believe the TSL ones come in the colour of your choice! Just no STi logo.

So, if they are already black, why are you painting

Sorry if I'm being thick, does the black look crap on the car so you're having them done in Blue/Black mica?

If I've got to get them sprayed as well don't think I can be arsed.

Cheers

Chris, its the same black plastic effect as the unpainted side sills, which IMHO doesn't look right on the blue/black car, hence I want them coloured blue/black...

Of course if I'd bought the non-subaru version from TSL, which is exactly the same design without the STi logo, I could have bought them already colour coded. But I bought mine before TSL did their version.

Hope that explains it, Alex
