I'm not a Scooby driver but I'm after your advice, please...

The story so far is this

I recently was in a smash and my Corsa GSi was nearly a write off but they've decided to fix it.
Anyhoos, I get a phone call this morning from the body shop place and the woman asks me for the keys so that they can begin fixing it. 'But you have the keys' I replied, 'No we don't' she answers.
Now I know that the keys were definately in the car.

So I asks how did you manage to get it on and off a transporter without the keys eg. The steering would lock up or it would roll off without the handbrake on. 'We can just push it on and off' she says.
OK then 'How did the engineer guy assess the damage without opening the bonnet or getting in the car?'
'Er dunno' was the reply.

I am now worried about two things

1. Some dodgy geezer has a key to my car and might steal it when I get it back.
2. The engineer guy hasn't assessed the damage fully if he didn't open the bonnet.

Opinions please....

Should I demand that all the locks are replaced at their expense ???

Just off the phone to body shop.

They are now stating

1. You cannot prove the keys were in the car when we got it.
2. You do not need access to the car to get it off and on a transporter.
3. You do not need access to the car or to open the bonnet to assess the damage.
4. We do not fill out a form when the car arrives listing damage, keys, stereo..etc

I am going to see the manager tomorrow.

I have phoned my broker to lodge a complaint and also to the insurance company. This is after all their 'approved repairer'

Any advice on the above situation would be much appreciated.
