trying to work on an idea, and want to synch 2 hdd's on 1 machine remotely.

Is it possible ?

both hdd's same PC,

basically

will work on data set x at say 1am till 3 am, after finished want to remotely copy all off data set x to set Y (master data)

Cant you set up a scheduled task ?
create a batch file(copy.bat) to copy c:\data\*.* d:\data
you will need to add a switch to overwrite previously copied data
otherwise it will error

schedule batch file to run daily at 1515

As in the same data?

Are both HDs in the same PC?
