Has anyone experience of the Voyager package from BT (or recommend any other wireless package ?)
I'm considering upgrading to broadband. I have a desktop upstairs and a laptop. If I go broadband, I'll probably consider a home networking solution to share the connection, but have stumbled across this wireless doodah which appeals because I can use the laptop anywhere without the bother of connections. I'm sick of cabling and with a toddler on the way, I don't want the wiring getting into it's grubby little hands and I don't really want cable ties or those pipe thingies. |
the only wireless adsl i know is by ntl.

BT have something for the home network.
It's still ADSL over the phoneline in the end, but in the house all the connections are wireless. We don't have cable in our area (which is strange for a newish estate) so BT/Sky is the only option available. |
Not sure if BT are still using the same wireless equipment, but they used to package Linksys 802.11b equipment.
I have several Linksys wireless products ranging from Access Points, Ethernet Bridges to PCCards and have never heard any problems. Michael |
