thats bad news to hear, perhaps you could post how (if you know) the car was stolen to help other owners to better protect our vehicles, i was just wondering if crooks these days can beat our expensive mechanical and electronic devices or are these scumbags resorting to the evermore popular tactics of car jacking and house break in's to find keys.

anyway, hope they catch the scumbags.

Hi Chris,

apparently they broke into the house and stole keys.

Ade & his family where asleep at the time.

Seems we must all leave our keys in the same places ;)

The point is that the less common your anti-theft system is, the more effective it is, because crooks know mainstream systems and can break them in minutes (if not seconds).

I've an original idea I've shared with Doug last Sunday.

Obviously not posting here, but it's dead simple. Can tell to anyone who asks in person, e.g. on next Sunday meet.

Hope the stolen car will be recovered soon.

Sergey
