I have used all three makes on my beemer and found that durability is the real differentiator...
The Yokos and Toyos are slightly better at sticking to the road but to do this they are a bit on the soft side and don't last that long. I currently have Eagle F1s which IMHO are a better compromise between performace and durability :) I guess it depends what type of driving you are doing... |
Cheers,
looks like i might be trying the Toyos ... - Jon |
Another vote for Toyos, though i've never tried F1's.

For a VW Golf (V6 4Motion) ... but looking for tyre advice, based on experience,
Ok .. I have a shortlist, but this is my first medium performance car, so previous cars, the most powerful being a 90ps Gold TDi (!) and their tyres haven't helped much, Yokohama being my tyre of choice previously (A520/A539) Reading around, I have drawn up a shortlist: Yokohama AVS SPORT 205/55 ZR16 93W EL RPB £74.10 Yokohama A539 205/55 ZR16 93W EL RPB £69.00 Toyo PROXES T1-S 205/55 ZR16 91W Rim-protection £61.80 Goodyear EAGLE F1 GSD-3 205/55 R16 91W £82.20 Place your votes/opinions/experience now ...
