Motul 300v 15/50w would be my prefered choice, or Mobil 1 Motorsport 15/50 (full synthetic).

jonny, you've obviously got too much time on your hands...........
best thing to do is use a quality synthetic oil ONLY, change every 5000miles and use a quality filter - no probs!!
