Hello all. Anyone here use direct connect (like kazaa, only much faster connections)

I found a program called DC Faker, which allows you to set whichever size of share you like. No minimum share size!

Search for it on Kazaa!

word of warning....don't use it in the EVIL hubs....you will be perm banned.

Depends what hubs you visit. I stick to moderated, scripted hubs where fakers are easily spotted kicked and banned :D

If someone leeches from me, they get kicked, simple ;)

I have been on moderated hubs. harder to get into, but as long as the share you set isn't huge, and you maintain you have no slots free (making it look like i am just busy) then i have a ball.

Well, the way i look at it, most people don't have gigd of data to share. And why, if you want to share your kit, set the share limits so high?

i thought it was all about sharing, i have loads of useful stuff to share, but just doesn't amount to what is needed to get onto the 'good hubs'

Just don't try cheating...the scripting is of the most advanced in DC along side the infamous Evilbot and Angel.

to name but a few. (I would make them clicky, but the board won't allow me to use the DC protocol, it alters it to HTTP. Just paste them into your browser if you have DC installed and it will auto connect you to the hubs)

What media do you have to offer?

min shares are
macgyvers = 20Gb....600 users....aprox. 26Tb of data
VT = 15Gb....550 users....aprox 20Tb of data
Snows = 10Gb....700 users....aprox 20Tb of data

I can't remember all the others as I don't visit them as often. They probably tell you on the EVIL site. You'll see my hub there but its down at the moment due to ISP issues.

All the hubs are multi so you are looking at aprox. 100Tb of data. The hubs are normally full as Macgyvers is the most famous hub in DC.
