Hi,
I used to work in an amusement arcade many years ago! It's easy to get one...go to a travelling fair or an amusement park like Billing Aquadrome (northampton, where i worked) and just ask the owners of the amusement arcades if they have any for sale. They will have 99% of the time. You could get an 80's BAR XXX machine for about £100 or a feature (andy cap, eastenders, corrie, etc machine for a a bit more. I'd go for a mechanical one arm bandit, much more fun and you can amuse yourself taking it to bits and polishing/restoring it! Good luck! |
Anybody know where i can get hold off a ex pub Fruit machine?
Fancy one in the back room, reckon i could make a few quid when people come round http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif and it`ll make a superb piggy bank! Paul http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif |
Paul
try eBay as they sometimes have them on there, or try ringing round some of the big markets in london, think there is a site called salvagenet or something, alternatively find a local supplier of fruit machines, they must do something with the old ones ? Greg |
Ooops! Sorry Paul, I was meant to let you know where I got my pinball machine from http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Have a look at this chaps site. It's where I got mine from. The chaps name is Chris Jackson. He didn't have what I wanted in stock but found one fairly quickly for me. |

Paul,
make sure that you adjust the winning percentage to be _well_ in your favour, otherwise one of your mates might and up going home with a big chunk of your savings! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif mb |
