We've been having a very annoying problem at the office with out internet connection.

When I click on an URL, you can hear hear the 'click', but nothing happens for about 30-60 seconds. It's not a problem with the website or the isp. In the taskbar (bottom right), I can see the connection icon flashing but only on the side of the Internet, my computer seems to 'take a break'. It's a Frtiz ISDN modem

not enough info to determine a problem

Can you ping outside your network (not nessesarly a problem if you can't as some IT admins only allow port 80).

is your DNS server running ok. Try doing an nslookup on the site.

There could be many many more issues at fault here. This is just a quick starter.

Try running a tracetoute to your intended host to determine where the connection drops (again, some admins may block this at the gateway. I know I do :))
