On the "new" Subaru UK website they include the PPP listed under WRSport accessories.

Does anyone know if this is avaible immediately for the 2003 STi or is there going to be a lenghty wait like the previous STi?

Anyone from Subaru or Prodrive like to comment so we get the facts from the horse's mouth.

Many thanks.

As they're using EcuTek products to remap the ecu this time around, one would hope it's release would be sooner than normal :)

Hi Simon,
I spoke to Prodrive at the Autosport show about this. They said it was well into development and should be available soon. But to be honest he didn't completely convince me.
I got the same or though a bit more confident reply from the Subaru stand, was told it needed to be ordered when placing an order for an MY03.
Read into that what you will, both people I spoke to weren't there just to hand out leaflets so you can only assume they know what they are talking about.
Cheers, Grahame.

I also spoke to Prodrive at Autosport shwo and was "assured" that "PPP" for 03 MY's were as available as the cars, so basically, its as many weeks as delivery of the car to the dealer?
So whos is telling who the truth? Seems to be a bit conflicting somewhere, or is it all simply to get orders into dealers, then being stitched up with several weeks of waiting [again]...

Hi Guys,

I spoke to Prodrive earlier today.

The PPP for the 2003 STi is available NOW!!!

They are in short supply at the moment though and the guy I spoke to recommended getting your dealer to order ASAP to prevent any delays. Order now and they will have it for my March delivery!!!

Cheers

Simon

PS
Only downside to PPP - my current insurers want nearly £500 a year more for the PPP. Not worth it when I only pay £800 anyway!!!

yes but your insurer's don't know you have an ecutek..
