Here's another way

Easy,
I'm assuming it is a vent to atmosphere.
Do you know where the standard dump valve is?
If not it is below and to the left of your intercooler. Near the big peice of pipe connecting the intercooler to the engine.
the dump valve is the black and has 2 ends that are pushed into the standard pipe work. It also has another smaller bore pipe coming of the top and going to the silver intake on the engine. Disconnect this smaller pipe at the dump valve. Then slacken of the air induction pipe that the air filter is attached to. Making sure you take it off at the turbo neck. When loose pull one end of the dump valve out. The other end is held in place by a self tittening clip. Squeeze it together and pull out the dump valve, and discard. Replace the new dump valve in the last hole that you removed the originall one from. Eg the hole on the right. Put the metal bung (You should have with the fitting kit of the new dump valve) into the left hole and replace the air induction pipe back to the turbo. Reconnect the smaller tube to the small pipe on the new dump valve and bob's your uncle:D

If its a recirculating dump valve replacce it as you removed the original dump valve. I will try and get some picks up but carnt promise anything as Ive been having probs lately
Kindest Regards Ronie:D

Dan, you pleased with your dump valve?

Ive got a HKS and in 2 minds to put it on. People on here say they are useless and not needed and others say put it on! The guys who say no says the dump valves cause engine problems and make the car slower?!

My car came with it on from japan..!!! it is ok its only really a sound thing with me, dont notice massive amount of difference..! Ive had a few dump valves greddy, bailey, HKS and blitz..!! the HKS one ive got now is to high pitched for me.. but i live with it.. the best sounding one for me was the blitz super sound DV..

Cheers Dan.

I was going to get the Blitz one but everyone i spoke to who had one, said they had idle problems or engine problems when turning the car! So i went for the HKS :D

I went for the BAILEY DV ... up to now, never had a problem with it, sounds ok, seems to do the job.

As for fitting instructions ...Caz's picture link is 'spot-on' .. couldnt have described that better myself ..if you cant do it from that, you'll never do it.
