just want to thank jon44 for organising a great day. froze our nads off, but we had some nice motors put on the rollers (yours truely didnt), evo6 and a couple of evo7s,(275, 310 and 318 bhp respectively) trans-am, rover 400 with a 2litre turbo and big garrett turbo, sunny gti-r and off course scoobys. one classic and 2 bug eyes. they certainly didnt let the side down with one bug eye sti producing 256 bhp and loadsa torque. a few surprises here to. enter one golf TDi 130 with performance box. pulled 150 odds out of the engine but where the surprise came was in the torque figure. 275 lb/ft which was 1 less than jons evo6. highlight had to be the skyline which was owned by some chinese/japanese fella. he was a big reluctant to put it on the rollers at first but jon eventually persuaded him and we thought we was gonna be in for a show of serious muscle. started off ok then when she got to about 4000 rpm the guy lapped the show and asked to slow down. car was pumpin out 323 bhp at 4000 so we reckoned a conservative estimate of abound 550 - 600 bhp. having said that it did not stop the guy redlining it on his way down the road from the rolling road centre.

i enjoyed myself and actually manged to put faces to names some of which where happy and some of who where surprised to say the least, i will mention no names. one defector who shall remain nameless didnt bring his bright red cossy and came in a 205 diesel ffs.:D

anyways hope i havent stole anyone thunder (jon44?) and hope to see you all again.

cheers

Well said big Sinky. Thanks to Jon and the crew for a great day. I really enjoyed it and hope there is something similar coming up soon. Nice to see a good variety of hot cars and meeting the drivers.

See you all soon.

It was good craic, my toes are just recovering now. Time to save the pennies for the remap for 280bhp.
