does anyone know where iam supposed to copy media player on the xbox drive so i can use it,

Put where ever you want. Depends what you want to activate it with. BoXplorer ? EvolutionX ? Run from CD/DVD ?

If you've got the standard HDD in it, then the C drive is a good enough place for it. Otherwise the F drive ;)
