HI ALL any other scoobys with nos on ??????????????????????
|
Most people try to select the right turbo, fuel system and engine management to achieve their aims since the power lasts a bit longer. On a turbocharged car I personally think doing this is the way to go, although NOS is cheaper.

Nigel Bowles (One of the first on here to run NOs) - David Wallis (Played with almost everthing ;) - Sorry David) to name but a few.
I have considered Nos myself - but I'm not totally committed to it yet- IMHO the Pros & Cons are: 1) Touch of button massive power available with Nos for short time. 2) With right turbos power is available most of the time. 3) A Nos Tank runs out and getting refils may be problematic. 4) As a side affect NOs gives a very good cooling affect. Translating the above a bit - consider: a) Short term costs b) Long term costs c) Availability if consumable d) positive &/or negative side affects - if any. These are just some things worth considering - hope that helps... Chris [Edited by Chris.Palmer - 1/18/2003 10:20:46 PM] |
