Is it possible to buy a replacement LED bezel for a Clifford alarm? I've got a Clifford Concept in my other car, one of the older models with the round LED bezel but would like to use the square one that comes with newer alarm.
I still have proof of the alarm and could probably dig out the serial (if it has one) as proof I do actually have one and ain't on the fiddle to add the Clifford LED to a Sparkrite alarm lol :D |
Do you mean this one?

The picture isn't working.... strange cos I can usually see turbosport pics OK. Can anyone else see it? It's not referrer blocking BTW I checked that! |

Paul,
did you receive postage details? not got mail from you! ron |
Yeah mate, cheers. Went out after I posted the last message hence no reply until today.

The LED's are exactly the same, just the bezels are different. The older circular bezel going under the shoulder of the LED's housing, whereas the newer rectangular bezel goes over the front of the LED's shoulder. Just pop into your local Clifford dealer and ask whether he's got any of the bezels kicking around in a drawer.

Cheers mate, getting one off Rex. Thanks for the advice though, I was gonna measure the voltages etc with a meter to check if they run at the same voltage but don't need to now :)
|
And if you ever wanted to make up your own custom LED, absolutely any standard LED (by that I mean no built in resistor/voltage regulator, no built in flashing function, etc etc) will replace the Clifford LED as the current limiting components to control the LED are on board the alarm.
