STI7or8 get these things over 300bhp and they shift completly different from the standard car,Must admit didnt realise how much though!.I think ill leave it at that for now, warranty thing and all that.

Paul N P 13 January 2003 10:53 PM

PPP STi7 is much much better than standard car but wait til you have a go in a well mapped EcuTeK STi7, chalk & cheese again!

nellie 13 January 2003 11:21 PM

I had mine done just before xmas, and I thought it didn't feel much quicker. But, to be fair, it is winter and I have been taking it very easy.

It goes on the rollers in a few weeks, so i'll be interested to see what it produces.

Gareth.

scoobycar60 14 January 2003 08:14 PM

LOL Tyres just dont seem to last like they used to ;)

Enjoy.......makes quite a differance doesn't it

Group buy on gold super leg 18's + good tyres must be coming me thinks.......

Tboner 14 January 2003 09:47 PM

Road-rash 15 January 2003 12:33 PM

Milltek exhuast system just as good but a grand cheaper sounds like a a proper subaru well worth the money.

V5-APS 15 January 2003 03:51 PM

I have the Milltek exhaust plus the ECUTEK.....nice sound and custom mapping. Was hoping to have a chat sometime Paul NP, sorry about the damage on the car too.

Cheers

T5NYW 17 January 2003 06:50 AM

Milteck and EcuTek IIRC is the best/safest/powerfull way foreward for a STi7 :D:D:D:D but yet the same price as PPP ;) but if it were to go bang :( no warrentee

But agree these STi7's diff's just love more power :D:D PPP must be sponsered by Bridgestone  because the black round bits don't last long with PPP  LOL

Tony

MARK MORRIS 17 January 2003 04:29 PM

just had mine done a couple of hours ago, luv it
mark

Rob D 17 January 2003 04:35 PM

Tony, the ECUTEK/exhaust power increase costs around £1500-1700 depending on where you get it fitted. :)

gareth60 17 January 2003 07:00 PM

For those who have PPP, how many miles do you get for £30 of fuel (average) ??

Cheers
Gareth

Neil Smalley 17 January 2003 07:13 PM

140-170 of SUL depending on mood

T5NYW 18 January 2003 11:04 PM

V5,
Nice :D but could only save £295 on PPP a tad risky

Gareth
3K miles since fitting PPP :D:D 50 litre SUL now lasts on average 170m was 145m before PPP

UKType 19 January 2003 11:26 AM

Just had ppp fitted to my STi7 and have a couple of questions:

1) Everytime I lift my foot off the throttle I get this 'whooshing' noise a bit like air escaping. Is this normal as I never noticed it before the ppp was fitted.

2) Anybody who has had ppp fitted for some time could you comment on if the exhaust note changes much after you have done a few thousand miles.

Thanks
