As per title really.
Currently have SS (made by H&S) downpipe and back-box on 5 door classic wagon :) .. plently sound insulation in the boot but either getting old/deaf or because of our wee daughter I am looking to quieten things down, less boom in the cabin ... but still want a nice growl :D Anybody have experience of the quiet H&S backbox and how it compares to the normal SS one/others (Magnex/PPP). I know I can get Remus etc backboxes that are quiet but would like to keep an H&S one to match the downpipe I have fitted. I realise noise level is all subjective but any help would be appreciated. I want to cut out the drone on the motorway. Don't want to change to a 'quiet' H&S system and find that it's still too loud and the drone on the motorway is still there :( Doofus. |
Talk to Wendy at scoobyworld about the MACH 2 exhaust 01509 853502
it removes the boom what comes from having a 5 door but you still get that flat four burble Paul |

Mach 2 eh? [/Intrigue mode] Go on, tell us more! http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/hyper.gif |
Just to let you know the Mach II will be available for purchase Monday.
It is a twin tailpipe on a round back box and so far has tested very well, it has a better sound over the standard system but is substantially quieter than the other aftermarket systems. Let me know if your interested, as we may well have a couple of demo boxes up for sale! Wendy www.scoobyworld.co.uk |
