Does anyone know what the housing market (to buy) is like in the Brussels (Belgium) area?

Is it similar to the UK, with prices rising far faster than inflation (and is the bubble about to burst)? Are there things to watch out for (as a UK citizen, but not me!)?

Presumably the EU will have made such transactions much easier (especially if paid/paying in euros)?
