Heard somewhere he had a "Saturday night fever", what a "tradedy".

Not really in the best of taste i think.

Went in to deal with an intestinal blockage and had a heart attack during/following the surgery (not sure which).

his brothers are not happy. Heard soundbites on the radio this morning saying they'll not rest until they find out what happened. They're alleging that something wasn't right and have vowed to find out what.

Very sad. Saturday Night Fever was a seminal film and soundtrack.

Yet more evidence of the dangers of too much booze.

Not necessarily....my Dad passed away last year at the age of 56. People do die in their mid 50's. Until my Dad died, I wasn't aware of so many other people who had lost relatives at a relatively young age from "natural causes".

Very very sad :( I grew up listening to their music in the very late 70s :( I still listen to it now because I grew up on it. Very sad news :( RIP

I was and am still a fan of his music - truly dreadful news and very very sad for his family
