i can't decide to get a turbo timer or not

1, i can't arm the car alarm when the cars running
2, you can't turn your back away co you aren't sure its safe

when i drive i normally drive the last mile or two in a high gear and low speed (4th gear 30mph ??)
is that ok?
or makes no difference whatsoever??

thx

Handy to use to warm your car up on a morning though. :D

I go out, start the car, set the timer for 10 mins, take the keys out, lock the car (leaving the disklok on) and make a cup of tea. When I come back out the car is defrosted and warmed through :)

Not bad for a 1 mile drive :)

Also - i have mine set at 30 seconds - handy for those times you "forget" and switch off when you get to your destination.

As with anything - you'll most probably get all arguments from the board. I say it has its uses to warrant one - but maybe not solely for warming the car down after a run.

No boost for the last couple of miles and then a minute or so sat on your drive on tickover after your average journey will be fine IMO. After a long motorway journey i give mine 4 to 5 minutes on tickover. My turbo timer is strapped to my wrist.:) The kind you buy for your car are a complete waste of money IMO.
