Ok, at power station yesterday, got 289bhp but only 239ilb torque out of the P1. Isnt that a bit low, what can i do to increase torque but keep reliability?
Running a s/sport full decat, no other mods.

You can remap the ECU. However, Powerstation is known to read lower than others for power and torque.

Cheaper solutions are to use Optimax and octane booster to really get the octane up so that you get more ignition advance - this will increase your torque.

John, had a bit of det in the mid range. I use optimax but no o/booster.

You probably had det because of the poor thermal management on the rollers compared with the road. This would have killed your torque because the ECU probably pulled the ignition. Run octane booster on the road as well. If you measured torque using something like an AP22 I think your result would be much better.

Thanks john, ill try o/booster, it runs real well and i guess that is the problem with rolling roads,it gets you thinking

My car produced 302.5 bhp - 248lbs/ft at Ps on Saturday,I had Optimax and Millers Octane Plus as well. But it gave 306bhp - 278lbs/ft at PE in June after the phase 1 conversion was done, with an outside temp of 30 degrees C plus. I would'nt be to concerned with the readings from Saturday, I'm putting it down to low readings from the PS rolling road, as Bob pointed out here http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...=143863&Page=6.
