Thinking about a new gfx card

Current spec -

AMD XP2100+ cpu
KT3 ULTRA - ARU MOTHERBOARD
512mb ddr ram
2X IBM 7200rpm 40gb hdd in raid stripping mode
**** - ATI Radion 8500le 64mb DDR GFX card (flashed to 8500)
350watt psu
19" flatron monitor
Pioneer a105 dvd-rw
Digital out Sound card

ect

can get rid of the current GFX card for about 50 quid

So fancy either a

Radion 9700 pro
Radion 9700
Radion 9500 pro

Or shall I wait for the new Nvidea (sp) stuff ??

Must say I am a fan of the Radion and would like to stay ATI

Image quality is more important than sheer FPS
As is video out as I plan to use DVI out to supply a propossed video projector ( sony HS10)

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Personally, i prefer the nvidia cards to ati. I'll be waiting for the new gforce fx.

have to say i have a 4600 ti in my machine with 128meg and it is spot on. plays colin mccrea 2 at max resolution/ 32 bit colour depth and it is a smooth as a baby's arse. like wise mafia and MOH both of which i played again after my upgrade to a 2 gig Athlon. all i can say is what a difference :O
latest drivers made a BIG difference.

cheers
